History & Formation
The Republic of Cellarius was born 430 years ago when King Namaeru the Last was deposed from his throne after a tyrannical reign, the CFF or Cellarius Freedom Fighters, won at Demris Heights, soon they got to Sembis, where the Capital of the Kingdom of Cellarius was stormed by rebels, soon the King abdicated and went into exile where he was killed under suspicious circumstances. The rebels split into three, the leaders split into two parties, the CMF, Constitutional Monarchy Group, aimed to return King Namaeru's son Imalrid, for a Constitutional Monarchy. And the SCP, Socialist Cellarian Party, where they aim for a Socialist Republic. Finally, the third group turned into the Army of Cellarius. They are still serving to this day. The country had a vote and the Socialist party won overall, in a landslide victory. The Republic lived for socialism, until recently where Chancellor Merinas, amended the Constitution to fit his plan for a new Federal, Capitalist government.

Politics of the Republic
The Federal Republic has a bicameral system, where they have the Senate, and the House of Patricians. Anyone can join the House of Patricians, if they have an IQ over 200, however, for the Senate, you have to be picked by the Chancellor, and be a Governor of a province before that. The Lower House, the Patricians, decide on laws and the Speaker presides it. On the other hand, the Senate decides if these bills should be enacted into law. They can also repeal any thing that doesn't suit them from the Patricians, the only person who can delete their decisions is the Chancellor, but he has limited veto power, if he goes beyond boundaries, the Senate will impeach the Chancellor. Our motto, libertatem, et fortitudo deo, resembles our best strife for liberty within everything.
Culture & Religion
The culture of Cellarius is very diverse, but it is centred around Owls. From our motto, you can see that we are Christians, more specifically, Catholics, when St Geral and St Beren entered and showed us Christianity. Owls are our national animal, we have owl-feeding competitions, where we feed owls with trout. The culture also shows our very diverse dishes, such as Owl-on-a-stick.
