Due to the unrelenting heat in July, weapons factories in the region exploded as the vast quantities of ammunition cooked off. This caused every nation with weapons factories to lose money paying for the environmental cleanup needed, as well as buying lawyers to defend against the many lawsuits. Other shop items pay as normal but weapons factories lose 1250 tacos each. Nations with no weapons factories are not affected by these multiple disasters.
In the "Did You Know" category, the Taco Island Charities exist in part to help nations struggling with reduced or non-existent payouts. Contact Paffnia for details as TIC might be able to ameliorate any losses resulting from the fireworks above.
