Has day phase ended yet?
Your lawyer analogy is flawed. The lawyer is hired to provide a service, defending the individual is his job. The lawyer is not required to approve of the individual's actions, but is there to ensure the individual did not, and does not, have his or her rights violated. This situation is more like you being a witness who said he took the murder suspect to the airport the morning of the crime. He could still be guilty, because after you dropped him off, he could have left the airport and committed the crime, departing on a later flight. It's possible you were hoodwinked and innocent in all this, but it certainly looks like you were at least committing perjury and possibly even were an accomplice to the crime.
Do not roll over and give up. Frankly it's no fun. At least try to defend yourself. If you're truly innocent, explain why you said what you said. Go back to the posts, quote them, and show us what you were trying to do. Better yet, find us a different ghost.
@kozmix's point that making the lawyer metaphor makes you more guilty is terrible, at least rip that apart! It may have been inaccurate, but it's not damning.
I'm going to be so mad if the ghosts are just turn themselves in one by one. BORING!
Please don't do his work for him!
That being said, it was a simple counter to an inaccurate analogy. His defense post everyone lynching Louis was "I hope you aren't mad at me for not lynching Louis" or something to that effect. If he was, infact, a lawyer, that is an unnecessary claim to make. We had a debate, we found the man guilty, we took a vote.
