I've been running a version of this on TRR forums and seemed to be moderately successful.
Would there be an interest here for this?
It is like normal werewolves with similar ish roles but played over just one night phase and one day phase.
The aim of the village is to find a werewolf and lynch one of the two wolves in play. The wolves must avoid being lynched. It is a short game with the day phase lasting around 48 hours and the night phase as long as it takes to get all the action roles to message their desired actions. I can accommodate 13 players, however players need to be active and engaged or it just doesn't work. As it is only one day phase.
If this sounds something like you'll be interested in post below stating as such. If enough people want to play I'll turn this thread into a formal sign up.
This also is a stand alone game separate from 'normal' werewolves. So shouldn't be seen as a replacement. It also has different rules (as no one dies). Full details will be posted after Christmas and probably boxing day.

Once night phase is over, the village will awake and must attempt to lynch a werewolf (or avoid being lynched). The night phase will last as long as I am waiting for orders, however if a player is not responding to requests to put in their actions their action will be randomly assigned and or a player may be moved to Non-player controlled status. Players must work out what role they are once they wake up. A werewolf might starts as a werewolf, but due to other players actions might become something else (and vice versa).
Roles will be sent out shortly. Please try to send your night actions back quickly but you need not worry about doing it in order. I will sort that out once all the actions have taken place.
There are no deaths in this version of Werewolves, all players who have signed up will be in play until the end of day phase, which will be the end of the game.
Any questions or queries post below.
There is a strictly no editing rule in this game. If you make a typo, tough. Penalties will be invoked if you edit.
