It was really both a joke and comment. I think Siuts usually gets killed early, but don't quote me on that.

Looking back, it doesn't seem like Siuts said anything that would lead the wolves to kill him. On the other hand, I'm not sure anyone else did either consider no one voted for anyone.

I have commented. I'm just not sure what to make of it.
I'm not convinced that gping after lurkers is a good idea at this point. To me, their first move indicates at least one experienced wolf. And so, tentatively, I Vote: Lynch Sauron.
There's no overwhelming evidence against him. It might just as well be Ater or Thomas. Or I could be completely off. But for now, it's the straw I'm grasping at.

I think I'll grasp this straw as well. Sauron is an experienced, dangerous player. I don't know his role, so I can't be sure that experience and skill will be used in favour of town rather than against it.

Well you at least commented yes, but there haven't been many comments, and 12 hours a quarter of the day phase had elapsed without any posts.

You make good points, however it could also just as likely be Louis who is the experienced Wolf. Also baring maybe one or two new-ish to the game, everyone here I would say is experienced.

I'd strongly advise not lynching me at this junction, and i'm rather suspicious of Tanz jumping on that lynch vote as well.

Yes, because Ashcente was pinged on discord and asked to defend himself, acknowledged the ping and didn't do anything about it. He isn't really contributing and is no loss to the village if he doesn't want to play/contribute. I then voted on him to hopefully spark a comment/defence.

It's one of my major bug bears that people sign up then maybe post a single comment every couple of phases.

To me it looks like you saw an opportunity to remove a threat to the mafia by removing an experienced player and jumped on the bandwagon based on a hunch.

There is nothing stopping you doing that (except the angel).

But as you say as I am "an experienced, dangerous player", killing me by lynching is just as effective, especially as another player has started the lynching process and you can fly under the radar a bit. It is why I find your jumping on the vote so unusual, particularly as the argument is not all that strong against me (or at least I don't think it is).

Night 2

As the sun sets, the vote count is as follows:

3 (lynch Aschente) - 2 (lynch Sauron) - 9 (no vote)

People who have not voted, in alphabetical order, are: Aschente, Ater Nox, Ayunli, Benevolent Thomas, Flemingisa, Lethoica, Shy Guy and SweetHaven.

Since the majority of the players have not voted, no one is lynched today.

I think the lynch rule is still a bit unclear, so here is an example to help clear it up.

More than 7 people must cast a vote.

If A has 4, B has 2, C has 1, D has 1 vote(s) respectively, A will be lynched, as there have been 8 (majority) of the votes cast, and A was the popular choice. I am sorry if there is any confusion in this matter, I obviously did not frame it right.

So I don't remember Flem posting much, so I think the Mafia are possibly going after players they may think are laying low and therefore power roles.

With that thought in mind, please post and add to the conversation! We aren't going to get any/many leads if there are only a few people talking.

I'm inclined to go with Louisistan's thinking before and vote lynch: Sauron. Hes an experienced player but isn't posting much which as far as I recall from the past is not his typical style.
