Dear Delegate Wischland,
I am reaching out you to kindly request your support and approval of my General Assembly resolution, titled the "Homelessness Mitigation and Protections Act."
The link to the resolution is here: page=UN_view_proposal/id=xernon_1634729732
The Homelessness Mitigation and Protections Act seeks to tackle a subject that negatively affects and impacts all nations, homelessness. The impacts of homelessness are numerous, and they can be felt through its effects on our nations' health, social, and economic indicators. On the individual level, homelessness affects our inhabitants' health and productivity and oftentimes leads to a number of other societal issues. The Homelessness Mitigation and Protections Act introduces international mandates and efforts to 1.) prevent homelessness, 2.) reduce homelessness, and 3.) guarantee homeless individuals basic human rights and protections. I really do believe that this resolution is pivotal and tackles a topic that is oftentimes silent and ignored. I hope that you will consider lending your support to this important piece of legislation by approving it.
Thank you so much for your time and help with this in forward,
Xernon

Delegates,
I present to you my repeal of GA#527, Protected Working Leave. Why should you approve it? Well, I'm glad you asked:
GA#527 contains many, many ways for workers' rights to be compromised, such as how employers may demote anyone on paid leave once the duration of the paid leave ends, how employers and governments may impose impossible conditions upon the granting of even necessary paid leave, and quite possibly worst of all, how employers may define for themselves what a reasonable duration is, allowing them to give perhaps a second of paid leave if the employer has leverage over the worker.
GA#527 also hurts business in ways you wouldn't expect, like how workers can call paid leave any time if they fake a cough and call it a serious illness, how member states can push the load of providing financial compensation onto small businesses that cannot afford it, and how workers may stay on paid leave for years, even decades to care for an irreversibly disabled loved one.
It simply contradicts itself by forcing businesses to provide workers the same or "a comparable job", yet also allowing businesses to not do this if it is determined to be "unreasonable".
I have a replacement here!
So consider approving it here! ^-^

Greetings, Delegate. I am asking you today to approve Commend Nephara.
Nephara is one of the best and most consistent roleplayers in the international sporting community today, especially in (association) football. This has led to much success on the international stage, both at the national and at the club level.
In addition, Nephara has prepared a series of helpful guides to help new nations organise and successfully run a domestic football league, and is also heavily involved in ensuring that the international transfer window for football clubs functions properly.
I believe that Nephara is thoroughly worthy of recognition by the Security Council, especially in light of their sporting achievements. I therefore seek your approval of Commend Nephara.
Thank you,
The Self-Administrative City of Tinhampton

Dear Wischland,
I am writing to request your support for the proposal Access to Effective Medications.
I'll be brief. The proposal aims to ensure that all people have access to the most effective and vital medications when needed. Sadly, in many nations, large numbers of people are unable to access the medicines they need for many reasons, including poverty, lack of availability, or lack of research. This proposal aims to improve their access in 3 ways:
Equalising access to medication information by creating an international body to assess the safety, efficacy and cost effectiveness of all known medications;
Creating a list of the most effective medications, and mandating that all WA nations provide their residents access to those medications; and
Reducing the impact of poverty on people's medication access by mandating affordable pricing of mediccations on the list, and encouraging cost reducing measures.
If you are supportive of these goals, I encourage you to read through the proposal and approve it for voting by the General Assembly HERE
If you have further questions, or want to discuss anything about the proposal, please send me a telegram, or head over to the forum post HERE
Kind Regards,
Xanthorrhoea

P.S. I realize that I sent you a similar message last week, and I apologize profusely for that. The proposal had to be pulled back to correct a few minor errors, but now it has been fixed, and I would greatly, greatly appreciate your approval of it.
