Lighthouse Keeping 101

Hi There Everyone,
I've decided to revive my Lighthouse Keeping 101 Class. If you'd like to learn about Lighthouses then this is the class for you!! I have listed below the original post that I made a million years ago. BUt I'd like to roughly follow the same guidelines.
Lighthouse Keeping 101
Summary:
• This class will cover a slew of vocabulary words such as: Group Occulting Light and Primary Aid to Navigation among others...
• We will learn the dangers of storms and how to prepare for ships when they can’t see the light from the lighthouse among other dangers.
• We will have a naming session to discuss what we’d like to call our lighthouse for our islands at the end of the quarter.
• I have no fear that all of you will pass, upon each Islander’s enrollment; I will have crews out to your islands building your lighthouse while this class is in session.
• In addition we will learn about ships and the building of them and why it’s so important to maintain contact with them when they are approaching your shores.
I will expect full class participation, I like everyone to see everyone’s answers publicly and have an open discussion. Therefore I would like everyone to post their thoughts and ideas in this thread. As people sign up I will add their name to this post as a participant. I only ask that you log in when you can and read what I’ve put out there to see in regards to lighthouse keeping and if you feel like responding then do so. I will PM each of you at the end of this class to ask what you have learned and in return you will receive a very pretty lighthouse! One last thing I want to say Nautical Wheelers! I just like that word! Look it up!
