hi I'm a new islander an was wondering what the shop items have to do with the game if anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated

Let me explain a bit of the gameplay for you (I'm not able to do a video):
Home: Important events, history and others;
HUD: Recent very popular threads;
Search: Type here if you want to know something that you don't have idea where look for;
Calendar: Date of important events in the Forum;
Members: List of members of the Forum (inclusive ghost ones);
Admin: Not that important thing to the gameplay;
Profile: Your Nation and basically your overview (similar to the NS one but with different topics showing, you can change it whenever you want;
Notifications: You will recieve one thing when something happens to you;
Messages: Looks like Telegrams of NS;
Discord and Twitter: Other 10000 Islands ways of communication;
Bank: Where you deposit the tacos you won;
Shop: You can buy things with your tacos, (for you I indicate the startup items, unless you become very luck and became rich from suddenly;
Recent Posts: Here appears the last posts made by the people in Threads;
The rest: They aren't that important for your gameplay, but if you have curiosity or something happened to you in these threads you should look, it's just a tip.
