Sit on the bench! ~Whoever sits on the bench wins for a time

Returning from a successful poetry career with Aerso, I've returned to claim what is rightfully mine.
I pull up with a bag and am in yellow kid-sized Lamborghini (which turns on a dime)
Surprised, you are almost eager to hear the next rhyme.
But then it hits you.
A smell, a kind of smelly smell, the smelly smell, it smells, smelly. Tacos.
You get up, and you start running
Your feet, on the concrete they're drumming.
But before you reach me
I toss the bag of tacos into a tree.
You climb up the tree, one would say frantically.
But you look back towards me, and see in despair,
As I had already sat down on that famed chair.

An old lady drops her groceries near you and you get up to assist her. ISOTB.

(At least, I'm assuming that you're nice enough to help an old lady...)

The year is 1963.

A crime has been committed, and so you leave for a nearby police box to report the offender.

Little did you know that it was actually a time machine, and you are awestruck by the fact that it is much bigger on the inside.

A grumpy old man emerges from behind you, and he is astonished to see you. He runs to the controls, mumbling that he regrettably has to take you along with him.

You are transported through time and space against your will, beginning a series of adventures involving xenophobic pepperpots, Emperor Nero and a guy named Steven.

You will one day return to the bench, after convincing the grumpy old man to let you go.

But you will return in 1966.

And while you are away from this time and place...

I sit on the bench.

[Throckland]

I walk up to you, but you seem determined to stay on the bench.
My face scrunches up, because I sense a particular stench.
Crime, with a hint of grease.
"Sir!" I say, "Please cease!"
"For I find you under arrest by the Interdemensional Police!"
"You have smuggled Time Lords into this dimension,"
"And for multiple accounts of temporal deception."
All of the sudden, the police box reappears with a bang,
And before I know it, you escape with the Time Lord and the rest of his gang.
I heard Northie say, "Hon hon hon, oui oui, baguette."
And although I was glad he had learned some basic French,
I noticed I was pretty tired, so once again, I sat on the bench.

Darth Vader comes near you... And while you're scared, he reaches his hand and says:
"I'm your father..."
You are perplexed... And you start to think on your childhood in Tatooine, with your uncles... They told you your father was dead, but never explained how that happened... Suddenly, it strikes you! And, somehow, it makes sense... You feel it is the truth...
Whithout hiding your emotions, you run to hug the Sith Lord...
"Father!!!"
And while a family is reunited, ISOTB and watch this scene and say:
"Cut! Well done, let's move to the next one!"

I return to this time and place, disguised as a Frenchman. It is late in the evening.

"Bonsoir, monsieur! Comment ça va?!" I exclaim, eagerly shaking your hand. "Je suis content pour toi. Tu as la victoire!"

Emphatically pointing towards the train station, I continue saying: "Tu aller à la gare et prendre le train pour Paris."

My very basic knowledge of the French language (which I hadn't practiced for in months) in combination with using certain resources (i.e. Google Translate and translation dictionaries) is enough to convince you that I am a Frenchman.

Your understanding (regardless of your proficiency with the French language) is that you have won something important and will receive it in Paris, so you eagerly leave the bench and take the train there to claim it.

Meanwhile, I snack on some gloriously delicious croissants as I sit on the bench.

After sitting on the bench for exactly 363 days, you feel the ground shaking.
Then you see me, leading a crowd of Mexican-Americans, for it was Cinco de Mayo.
You let out a wail.
Sitting on the bench for so long had made you frail.
You wince, as you're surrounded by an ocean of motion.
They invite you to eat tacos, (and how could you refuse?)
They hold you up high, in the sky, and take you to peruse.
In all the sound, I had found
That wooden seat once again.
Taking my notebook from its nook,
I wrote about what had transpired with my trusty pen.

After you've been sitting on the bench for several days, you realise your true calling is actually fighting for workers right. You get up to unionize the Amazon workers and ISOTB.

You just got tired and left...

I return with chocolate-covered ice cream tacos, forgetting about my Frenchman disguise. You ask if you could have some, and I say: "Alright, but only of you let me sit on the bench."

I give you one of my chocolate-covered ice cream tacos, but you do not let me sit the bench. I ask you: "Excuse me, but I thought you agreed to let me sit on the bench?" You are determined to not let me sit on the bench.

I take out what appears to be a pink puffball about the size of a football (or soccer ball, in some countries). It leaps onto your chocolate-covered ice cream taco, swallows it whole and runs away. You are infuriated, so you chase after the fleeing pink puffball. But you fail to catch it, because it flies away from the top of a tall building.

Meanwhile, I snack on some gloriously scrumptious chocolate-covered ice cream tacos as I sit on the bench.

You woke up, realizing you were dreaming... And also realized I was still sitting on the bench...

I appear from behind you, and start spewing random facts about heavy metal.
"Did you know that Chuck Schuldiner changed Death's lineup for each album? That means that he was the only original and consistently appearing member of the group. Also, did you know that Bruce Dickinson is not only Iron Maiden's singer, but also an airline pilot and a professional fencer? Cannibal Corpse is banned from playing at the Hard Rock Hotel, and Metallica almost broke up in 2003. The 'metal horns' hand gesture was supposedly created by Dio, who sang for Rainbow, Black Sabbath and.."
But before I could finish my sentence about the various bands that Dio was in, you walk away, looking annoyed and slightly bored.
Waiting for someone else I could spill my knowledge upon, ISOTB.

I pay a country singer to play near the bench until you leave out of frustration

I sit on the bench

I walk up to you, with no intentions to sit upon the bench, and ask, "How the heck did you know that country music (especially the newer stuff) is my weakness?"

Anisopterra begins explaining his knowledge of Throckland with grand gestures. At one point he jumps up, clearly agitated and ISOTB.

I politely offer you a cup of coffee just out of reach. When you stand up to get it, ISOTB.

I pull $100 out of my pocket to bribe Grea Kriopia with, but a thief snatches the money out of my hand. I run after them, screaming curses in Latin. Grea Kriopia is still on the bench.

[Nooooooooooooooo]

I sit on an invisible bench, but the invisible man steals it. Grea Kriopia is still on the bench.

It begins to rain heavily, and you don't have an umbrella, so you run home...
I have an umbrella, but I don't have a home to go to, so ISOTB

I build you a home somewhere far away and you voyage to said home. ISOTB

[Throckland]

I convince you to start a construction company and you become a successful businessman.
ISOTB

I invite you to live in the house I built with my successful construction career. You accept and as you walk to the home, ISOTB.

[Kohnhead]

I approach the bench determined to take it back but upon seeing who is sitting on it I decide that I don't want to sit on it anymore. Grea Kriopia is still on the bench

I return with an answer but I refuse to tell you unless you get up. You're so curious to hear the tea that you stand up and ISOTB.

Aliens abduct you and I start to sit on the bench, but then I remember that aliens abducting you is against the rules so I tell the aliens to bring you back. Because of my not following the rules I am too ashamed to sit on the bench so Grea Kriopia is still on the bench.

Also I was flattering you earlier and didn't want to steal the bench from such a great person not insulting you. Lol

Grea Kriopia is hungry and gets up for a [insert favorite food here]. I move towards the bench but an angry dragon attacks me for no reason and I run away. The bench is empty.

[Kohnhead]

Seeing the bench empty I attempt to run toward it but the same stupid dragon is still there. I tell the dragon where @northiesouthkorea is hiding and he leaves to resume his chase. ISOTB

I try a beeline for the now-occupied bench, but the dragon grabs me and carries me off to who knows where. Kohnhead is still on the bench.
