Well, I really hadn't fleshed this out but I was thinking maybe the occasional what they call prop bets. These are bets that are not necessarily related to the outcome of this game. One possibility might be major sporting events, except no soccer (or football, if you prefer) as Louisistan runs a soccer-based thread here.
I am reluctant to tinker much with this game due to what happened with Sic Bo. I basically asked the players if they wanted to make it more interesting by increasing the taco bets 10 times. People said yes, but then pretty much everybody stopped playing the game once I made that change.
I can look at sports book odds (there are odds on all kinds of thinks like elections and other strange stuff) and make the odds here more favorable to the player (like this game). As one idea.
