Hakketomat, Jabberwocky, and 1 more like this

A new group of nations have readied their rockets for launch at the Islands Space Center: Paffnia, Hakketomat, Jabberwocky, Escanaba, and @thx1138. Chief Executive Emeritus Woonsocket had the honor this month of hitting the big red button:

Liftoff!
First off the launch pad was Paffnia, whose astronauts apparently like talking about themselves in the third person. With their insider knowledge of the space program, the Paffniac crew reached the moon with ease. The astronauts touched down between Field Commander Crater and Boktavia Crater in the northern hemisphere on the near side. Freeze-dried ice cream sales increased after the landing, helping the Paffniac economy.
Next up was the rocket from Hakketomat, attempting a second launch after a failure last month. This time, ground crews took more care and preparation with the equipment and repaired and upgraded the previously damaged airlock. The mission this month went off flawlessly, with the astronauts establishing a colony around the Sea of The Colonial Fleet in the northern hemisphere on edge of the near side.
Jabberwocky's probe was next to launch. Arcing into the sky, the unmanned probe rocketed toward the moon and landed amidst a crater field on the far side of the moon in the southern hemisphere. The miniature lunar laboratory aboard has been transmitting valuable data back, boosting Jabberwocky's economy.
Following Escanaba's successful probe launch last month, the Escanaba Space Program sent up a manned mission to follow. Again, the mission proved quite successful, with the crew establishing a colony around the Mare Yavanna in the northern hemisphere of the near side of the moon.
Finally, @thx1138 attempted a re-launch of their unsuccessful probe from last month. This time, the ground crew all set alarms and multiple back-up alarms to make sure they got up and arrived on time the morning of the launch. With everyone in place early, the probe safely made it to a spot just below the lunar equator on the near side of the moon.
A successful month of launches all around this month!
