Islanders, it's time for the Islands' February Poet Laureate Contest!

So much has happened in the past year, with Among Us gaining a lot of fame, people joking about the possibilities of WW3, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle leaving the royal family. But above all, people persevered and showed bravery. For this iteration of the Poet Laureate competition, pieces can be any style of poetry, so long as it touches on the concept of courage/bravery. Have fun!

Only citizens may submit, and there's a limit of one poem submission per citizen. All entries must be your original work. Please PM all entries to both Free Las Pinas and Master of Tacos by 12:00am UTC, Thursday, February 11^th. Do NOT post your entries here or otherwise share them with anyone else but Free Las Pinas . For further clarification, the rules stated a deadline of 0000 UTC on Wednesday the 11th. That time does not exist because Wednesday is the 10th. So if you meant for it to end at 0000 UTC on Wednesday then the deadline was just over 3 hours ago. If you meant for it to end on the 11th then we have just under 21 hours remaining

11th is correct. I did not realize 11th fell on Thursday, thanks.

I am fine with it if you decide to extend the deadline for entries, just let me know because I will probably polish mine further if you do. I’m also fine with my entry as is if there is another entry already.

Sorry for the delay to those who submitted!

There is, however, something I need to look into in one of the submissions, so I’m going to add three more days to submit in case I’m correct with my assumption. This makes the new submission due date 6:30am, Sunday, February 14 (1:30am, Sunday, February 14).
