The Triple-Rèjk of Porymonia is a massive, efficient nation, ruled by He with an iron fist, and renowned for its closed borders, digital currency, and sprawling nuclear power plants. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless population of 1.905 billion Porymonians are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."
The large, corrupt, moralistic, socially-minded, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Law & Order, and Education. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Aqordon. The average income tax rate is 96.0%.
The frighteningly efficient Porymonian economy, worth 380 trillion imperial juwels a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector is led by the Information Technology industry, with significant contributions from Arms Manufacturing and Uranium Mining. Average income is an impressive 199,730 imperial juwels, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.
Citizens compete to guess the time between the royal lady's contractions, Porymonians are free from pain - but the side effects include loss of individual thought and freedom, earthquake sirens are a leading cause of hearing loss, and mining safety laws are often more expensive than what's being mined. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Porymonia's national animal is the White crow, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.
