Greetings everyone, and welcome to the questions for the senate candidates for this month's election, which are for the position of Himes West and Lyonesse East!
Now then, without further ado, on to the questions!

Questions for all candidates:

How long have you been in XKI?

How active have you been, and where? (discord, RMB, etc.)

Have you ever held any previous government positions, whether in XKI or in other regions?

Are you planning to hire a deputy once in office? If so, how will you determine which candidate to choose?

Why do you think people should vote for you?

What plans do you have for the House Cup and Shield competitions?

How have you done in the House Cup and Shield competitions yourself?



Questions for Himes West candidates:

Would you open A Taco Archipelago to other regions? Why or why not?

Are there any events you have in mind which you would organise for RP?

How active do you consider yourself to be in A Taco Archipelago?

Do you intend to expand RP to other places of XKI? If so, where?

How long have you been in XKI?

I joined XKI on April 28th of last year ao I have been in the islands for a little over a year.

How active have you been, and where? (discord, RMB, etc.)

I recently haven't been very active on the XKI RMB but I am on the discord and A Taco Archipelago almost daily.

Have you ever held any previous government positions, whether in XKI or in other regions?

I have been and still am a recruiter and welcome buddy in XKI (even if not very active anymore)

Are you planning to hire a deputy once in office? If so, how will you determine which candidate to choose?

If I win re-election I will remain with my current deputy, Haivon.

Why do you think people should vote for you?

People should vote for me because I am someone who actively roleplays and has experience on how roleplayers feel regarding many situations.

Would you open A Taco Archipelago to other regions? Why or why not?

I am a little torn about this as it can bring a lot of complications but it would also be a great experience, I still have no definitive answer to this question.

Are there any events you have in mind which you would organise for RP?

I do, as I said in my campaign thread I plan to organize an interegional roleplay event.

How active do you consider yourself to be in A Taco Archipelago?

I would consider myself very active as I post there almost every day and read everything that is posted.

How long have you been in XKI?
I've had nations in and out since 2016, but have been consistently involved in the region since June 2020.

How active have you been, and where? (discord, RMB, etc.)
Active daily on the Discord, and active as necessary to perform duties associated with my jobs and citizenship on the forum and RMB.

Have you ever held any previous government positions, whether in XKI or in other regions?
I was the Deputy Senator for New Republica South between January and May of 2021.

Are you planning to hire a deputy once in office? If so, how will you determine which candidate to choose?
I don’t see an imminent need for a deputy, but if I were to hire one at some point, I would see someone who is active in the house system.

Why do you think people should vote for you?
I believe I have the necessary experience from things like being a TITO Tactical Officer to be a contributing voice in the Co9 while having the willingness to work with others to make a more effective house system.

What plans do you have for the House Cup and Shield competitions?
My main idea is likely to increase awareness of them in non-forum channels to push islanders into joining the house system and reach recruiters who often don’t check the forum.

How have you done in the House Cup and Shield competitions yourself?
To be honest, I’ve been more active in the Minister of Immigration’s recruiting competitions, probably because they have better fit my schedule when I wasn’t busy with school. I was one of the winners of the Quest for the Golden Egg in April 2021 as part of this.
