This month, two nations have rockets ready for launch at the Islands Space Center: Zaberaz Hapang and Wille-Harlia. The billionaires haven't gotten their rockets ready in XKI quite yet, but these two space programs are set! Today, tech wizard Kortexia has the honor of hitting the big red button to start the countdown:

Liftoff!
First off the pad is Zaberaz Hapang, making a second attempt at a lunar probe launch. This time, the launch goes flawlessly, with the probe landing less than a meter from its intended target on the far side of the moon. Within a few minutes of landing, the probe beamed back images of the site, in the northern half of the western hemisphere.
Next off is the crew from Wille-Harlia. Their rocket roared out of the atmosphere in a perfect arc, reaching lunar orbit in no time. The colony ship touched down without incident to much fanfare afterwards. The astronauts established a base between the Hockeynutville Plateau and the Battle of the Empire of Power Plateau near the equator of the far side of the moon, and the success of the landing spurred strong economic growth back home.
