Merry greetings to all and welcome to the first ever Christmas Jollyfest! Following the success of the Halloween Spooktacular, I decided to do another “costume” contest, this time using relatively well-known members of the XKI community to represent various Christmasy creatures/items.
Much like the Halloween Spooktacular, the Jollyfest is a two-part contest. From now until 12:00 am forum time on 12/18/22, you can vote for your top three favorite “creatures,” whether they be a rainy reindeer, an exuberant elf, or a vermilion sleigh, using whatever criteria you want to decide!
The five “creatures” who receive the most votes will advance into the final round (opening on 12/18/22 after 12:00 am), in which each person can cast one vote for their favorite “creature.” Whichever “creature” wins that round will be crowned the merriest of them all and will retain bragging rights for the rest of the year!
Housekeeping Rule: Contestants may campaign for themselves if they so choose to do so and can vote however they like.
If anyone is interested in seeing a poorly photoshopped concept photo (see my beautiful creations from the Spooktacular contest
) of any of the above creatures, let me know and I’ll post the photo here as soon as I can.Good luck to all and may the merriest creature win!
