HI again. I know that I am new here and that I am really voicing my opinion quite a bit, for any of those that are becoming annoyed of all my threads about changes here, I am sorry just tryin to implement some new ideas.
Anyway, on to the point. When I first started NS (about a year ago) and I was in a region similar to this (just not as large) and I really tried to be involved in the politics. Now in this region, they had political parties like a Conservative party and a Liberal party. Now, I did join one of those parties (Conservative) and I was involved. Anyway getting to what I want to get across is that now that I am more experienced in the game, I am starting to think that real-life political parties (i.e. Conservative and Liberal) are pointless in the game. I think that more parties that are in line with 10KI politics and NS politics are better than parties that are parallel to real life because a lot of the issues in real life aren't need in the game.
I think the creation of the United Progressive Party (UPP) is a great start to what I think we should have. I say that instead of creating parties like the ACN and the Liberalistic Party (is that what it's called?) that we need parties more alligned with the game. This, I believe, will lead to a more active political system in the 10K Islands and a more fun experience. I am considering starting another thread similar to this one to get some opinions of a platform. I feel that in order to make the 10KI politics better we need to try and make the UPP and another party bigger and create a competitiveness between the two. This will lead to a better political system for this region.
