The Democratic Socialist Party(DSP).
Not to be confused with the Social Democratic Party, the DSP is more extreme.
I am in need of members to join me in founding the new party.
The Basic Platform
-All residents made citizens with the exception of multiple proxies.
-Entering nations apply for citizenship immeadiately or suffer ejection in the case of spys, spammers, etc.
- All citizens may join TITO after the approval of the Council of Nine
-All citizens can run for the Council of Nine
-Ministers of Immigration, Education, and Labor elected by citizens
-Council of Nine, majority rules, even over chief executive
-Improved Immigration with possibility of shifts

With enough support an official website will be built.

All UN nations are automatic citizens of the 10000 islands after they register on the forums, and are OKed by Grub. Being in the UN ensures that there are no multies....


-Entering nations apply for citizenship immediately or suffer ejection in the case of spys, spammers, etc.

Spies will gain no useful information from the RMB, and spammers will have already spammed our RMB before we can eject them.... This is pointless..... And what about our TACO deliveries? HOW WOULD WE GET OUR TACOS!!!?
Rest assured, we are always on the lookout for unusual activity, and we other security measures as well....

The Co9 is already very busy, and it would take far too long for our senators to individually approve each applicant, especially if they dont even know them.... Nations wishing to join TITO have to meet certain requirements, and be approved by our founder and the Chief Executive Officer of TITO, Grub.


-All citizens can run for the Council of Nine

Well, going along with anyone being able to be a citizen, we might as well hand over our government to invaders..... We need to be more selective due to security reasons. No one's going to replace Grub as founder any time soon, there are certain requirement for becoming delegate, and our ministers are appointed by Grub if they prove themselves to be loyal and dedicated to the position they are given. Any citizen, however, can run for senate... And it is only the senate that approves certain laws and resolutions pertaining to the 10000 Islands.


-Ministers of Immigration, Education, and Labor elected by citizens.

As said before, these people are appointed by Grub for being loyal and dedicated, and they are approved by the senate who are elected by the people... So, its indirect representation...


-Council of Nine, majority rules, even over chief executive

Well, i believe thats what happens..... Even so, Grub is a good founder and leader.....


-Improved Immigration with possibility of shifts

Well, seeing as we all have Real Lives, i dont think this is going to work.....

Other notes/corrections:
Grub does have veto power, this has note been used.
All Council members vote on an issue, including the Delegate, Ministers and Founder.
Most of the time it's unanimous on any issue, in fact there has been no rescent split on any matter.

Immigration shifts have been used in the past and can be effective, however the current system seems to be working better as well also and it allows for flexibilty on the part of recuirters. (Flexibility=RL)

Well atleast I got a response.
So you're anti socialist, I'm sure theres at least 5 of the 500 out there who agree with me.
And real lives, eh?

Shifts would be more organized, and with 500 nations it wouldn't be that hard. But I understand your point and realize that very little of the 500 nations would agree to this.
Aswell, I believe I read in the constitution that Grub rules over the rest and his opinion is the only one the matters, except in lighter terms.
If spys can't gain any useful info here, who are we handing the government to, there are no spys, as you say.

Your points are strong but faulty in some aspects, and I believe there are people here who will understand this new party.

Please clarify your first two points. Do you mean all residents must become UN members? Or do wish to extend the franchise to non-UN members? If it's the latter, you might as well drop that platform plank right now. Ain't gonna happen. Grub'll pull out the veto before he sees that happen. Not that he'd need to-it'd be voted down. This question has been raised and settled.
Grub does have absolute veto power. He can overrule even an eight-to-one vote. I, personally, am not okay with that, but how are you going to convince Grub it's best for him to surrender that? I'm reasonably sure that there are enough people for it in the Council, but Grub can just say "No" and it's over. Again, I agree, but if there's a way to make it happen. I don't know what it is.

Well I do think everyone should be a citizen.
What about the SDP, are they even still up.

The SDP has totally collapsed. The only liberal parties are my own, the Liberalisticals, which is semi-inactive, and yours. Again, though, what do you mean by "citizens?" Do you mean everyone should be a citizen, regardless of whether or not they're in the UN? Or do you mean everyone should be forced to join the UN?

Well, now I guess I should tone it down a bit, I believe I may set up another SDP, instead of the extremes of democratic socialism.
