So why Monarchy? here's why:

First I want you to take a close look at the recent UN human development index:

6. Belgium (monarchy)
7. Iceland (republic)
8. United States (republic)
9. Japan (monarchy)
10. Ireland (republic)

Yes, thats true, and considering that republics are more common than monarchies, this is even more remarkable.
Please also note that while Canada and Australia have no monarchs of their own, they're both tied to the british crown.

And to all the countries that have overthrown their monarchs:

-After WW1 in central europe the Hohenzollern and Habsburg monarchies were overthrown, creating a vacuum that would be filled by nazism in the thirties.
-The russians overthrew their monarchy in 1917, creating the soviet union in the process.
-Other countries that overthrew their monarchies include: Romania, Yugoslavia, Albania, Iran, Libya, Laos, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Rwanda and Burundi. Things didn't go well for them after that.

Unfortunately, this party has been horribly inactive... And I am sad to say that we... ehm no longer have enough members to officially be considered a party so... I guess this is it... I am afraid I see no choice but to leave the party.
I will start a new party soon , and you are welcome to join it. Maybe you choose to elect a new leader, or maybe you as well choose to leave the party. That's up to you.
My last "orders" (or whatever the proper word is) is that unless anyone of you decides to step up as the new party leader in 5 days, I think it's best to consider the RRP disbanded.

Based on communications with Alfonia and Parthini, the Regional Royalist Party no longer has enough members to be recognized as an official 10K Island party.

Any members left are welcome to recruit and attempt to resurrect the party and requalify.
