I know I'm going to ruffle feathers here, but I'll do it anyway . From what I remember, adverting was only applied to political ads. I find it rather restrictive--not on me necessarily but--on newbies who want to advertise that they've started a WW game, or they've started some sort of other thread. If they're like me and post with a purpose (sorry spammers ), they don't gain tacos very quickly. So, say I start out with 0 tacos. I post my thread. THat's 15 tacos. Now, all of a sudden, I need 235 tacos now to get an advert about my whatever-thread starting. OH boy, I better spam a bit! But I don't like spamming! THus, I'd be sort of... forced into doing something that I don't like.

I think that we would disregard a rule if someone has 15 Tacos and never got any more, the RR won't create new ones.

The RR won't create 235 new Tacos just so they can be payed by the RR will automatically claim those 15 Tacos after the nation officially CTEs.

I have, in the past, waged my own war on these fees but I think the fee on cBox and RMB ads is quite reasonable. If your post falls into that category of needing to be payed I say no, or at least not 250 Tacos. Maybe 250 Tacos for ten of them, or something. I don't necessarily agree with the RR on this one but thats the rules.

I also have adverted on the CBox many times and have not been charged for it. So, I really don't know what the situation is. Could use a ruling here...

I was actually the one who figured that out only a few weeks ago so don't feel too bad and you know that there was a Buddy program starting in 2004 and amended 2007.

If I only wanted to rent a portion of the WFE do I still have to pay the full 10,000 tacos?

I hope to pay for various bits of advertising all around the region and forum during the IPO auction process. I would rather not pay to take out all of 10KI's usual WFE for multiple days.

I think all you get is a link to a forum thread on the WFE. The last time someone bought a WFE ad (Minna's lighthouse class, I think), there was only a link, nothing else. I don't think the top of the WFE is ever affected.
