okay
role playing (rp) is just like pretending to do things. usually to do with your nation
example.
nation 1- i will buy 10 guns from u
nation2- but teroists nicked my guns
n1- we will hunt them down
n2-(3 days later) i have found them
n1- good, i have sent in my squads, every one is dead
n2- can i have my guns
n1yea sure

that was very basic.
