I shall take this time to tell you about the history and nation that is the Keloon Empire.
First of all, just to give you an idea about what a Keloon is:
Height: Usually 6'4" - 7'2"
Skin Color: Although the Empire of Keloon has absorbed three nations, it is dominated by blue-skinned Keloon (meaning "Greatest Race").
Eye Color: Again, the Keloon's dominating race posesses red eyes or maroon eyes. This is due to the atmosphere of Ashal (the homeworld).
Features: Humanoid, horns adoned on head, male and female sex.
Now, about our history.
The Keloon Race came from the planet of Ashal (which means "Homeworld" (Keloon speech is defined by different sounds having complex meanings. For example: "Kel" means "pertaining to a race that is identifiable with a nationality" and "oon" means "of the highest degree"). We were defeated by our long-standing enemies the Charakians. The Charakian nation once joined Nation States, but their leader Ad'all moved on and the Charakians are no more. The Charakians not only burned the atmosphere of Ashal, but they also destroyed 75% of the Keloon population. Those who survived the attacks boarded our various Na'las Dreadnaguhts and began to move on.
We have since begun to recover our population, and with our recent settling down in 10,000 islands, we should re-grow our people once again.
As we traveled throughout the northern galaxy, we encountered three primitive races. The Sald (Note: All names are Keloon in origin. Their original names have been lost.), the Ashkalah, and the Bound'e.
The Sald were a small tribal race that lived on a jungle world. The Na'las Shou're (which means "Light of a Thousand Dying Suns") detected unusual crystaline formations on the planet on the Northern Polar Cap. When we went down to investigate, the Sald attacked us. We still don't know why, but we believe it held some sacred importance. We sucessfully fought them off: spears, sticks, and stones were no match for Particle-Impactors, Bio-relay Pulse Lasers, and Flame Pods. Afterwards, we began to mine and examine these interesting crystals. Upon nano-examination, we determined that these crystals amplified not only energy but the very Ressonance waves of objects themselves. Needless to say, we stayed there for approx. 25 years, harvesting as many of the crystals as we could. On the 25th year, the Sald invaded. Aparently, they had alerted the whole planet. We counted over 200 million Sald in that invasion. We have estimated that there would have been well over 1.3 billion Sald had the various diseases we introduced to the planet not taken their toll. Needless to say, the Sald were once again defeated. The Keloon Council decided that we had gathered enough crystaline structure to grow them ourselves, and we left...though not before bombarding the planet and burning the atmosphere of the Sald.
Our next encounter was with the enigmatic Ashkalah. We had developed a taste for conquering once again. Once we discovered the Ashkalah were realatively weak militaristic wise, we began a campaign to conquer them. The Ashkalah were not on par with our technology, but they would be on par with one of your Modern nations in Nation Sates. Only, their fighting force never ammounted to more than a few hundred thousand conscripts, compared to the almost 54% of our population enrolled in the military/military industry. Only within the last months of that 12 year campaign did we realize what the Ashkalah could offer us. They had perfected a way to create self-healing aloy. An aloy filled with nanites. When the last Ashkalah stronghold was defeated, we rounded up their leaders, executed them, and then captured the remaining Ashkalah and put them into slavery. Except the scientists. We gave them great luxery and power in the Keloon Empire, in turn they gave us the Ashkalah special technology.
Our final encounter was with a Psychicly gifted race called the Bound'e. I cannot give all information about them, most of it is classified. Lets just say that we conquered them, and integrated their unique technology into ours.
We've since grown weary of conquest, and have decided to settle here in the 10000 islands. We will gladly join your forces in battle, and give new technology. However, we must first decide if we trust you all enough to do that.
In total, the Exodus of the Keloon to their settling in the 10000 Islands took over 1500 years to complete.
Oh, and a bit about myself! I am Lord Gabon, First Emperor of the Keloon Empire. We decided to name ourselves Empire when we landed. I am 63 years old (rather young for a Keloon), and was elected for my bravery, leadership rolls, and my involvement in the full exploration and integration of Bound'e technology. Although I am Emperor now, there might be others who take my place.
I hope I have sufficiently introduced the Empire of the Keloon. I hope we shall gain one-anothers trust soon.
Sha'da, Sha'da, Kelanda.
