FADE IN
The “ET” bumper graphic comes accompanied by the “ET” theme music. Amelia Page & Joseph Ingram are seated at the news desk.
Amelia Page: Welcome back to “Entertainment Tonight”!
Joseph Ingram: Celebrating birthdays today – Actor Daniel Benning turns 48 today.
A still of Daniel Benning appears on screen.
Amelia Page: Ella Barr is 87.

Joseph Ingram: And MaryAnn Navarro is a lucky 100 years old today!

Amelia Page: In other news, all eyes turn towards Avalon this month as we prepare for the 18th annual King’s Charity Ball at Kings Tower.
Joseph Ingram: Our very own Wendi Gates is in downtown Avalon to give us the inside scoop on what is the hottest event in Surdra.
SIDEWALK – DOWNTOWN AVALON – DAY
“ET” reporter Wendi Gates, holding an “ET” branded microphone smiles into the camera while standing on a sidewalk.
Wendi Gates: Thanks Amelia and Joseph, I’m here at One King’s Square in downtown Avalon where preparations for this year’s biggest event are now underway.
The camera then pans to the left to show the rest of the square; where workers are setting up banners, bleachers, and other items for the coming event. The camera then pans upwards towards the top of Kings Tower, the tallest building in Surdra.
The screen then cuts to clips of past King’s Charity Balls including; various celebrities walking down the red carpet, several clips of the Surdran Royal Family, and other captures from past events. As this montage plays Gates voice can be heard.
Wendi Gates: For the past seventeen years King Michael and the rest of the Royal Family have hosted the King’s Charity Ball in order to raise money for a single charity picked by the Royal Family each year. Last year’s event raised over 12.3 million Royal Dollars for the Surdran based iPwn Educational Foundation and this year’s event for the Wounded Guardians Project is expected to raise even more. The King’s Charity Ball has become the year’s biggest event for the richest and most famous people in all of Surdra and with tickets going for $50,000 dollars for a single person this year’s guest list is a who’s who list of the country’s biggest A-lest stars and philanthropists. From one King’s Square I’m Wendi Gates back to you in the studio.
INT. ET STUDIOS
Amelia and John are smiling at the desk.
Joseph Ingram: All right. Thank you, Wendi. Boy, it looks like this is going to be the best ball yet, doesn’t it?
Amelia Page: It sure does.
Joseph Ingram: When “ET” continues, we’ll talk about past King’s Charity Ball fashion hits and flops.
Amelia and Joseph smile. The “ET” theme resumes as does the bumper graphic.
