When you have political observers calling him a communist for trying to introduce better healthcare and appropriate taxes for the rich you have some serious issues America.

If we bring that thought into mind, then according to those people, it does seem that most of Europe is Communist for having good healthcare and taxes for the rich

Hahaha - yup... It's pretty sad, really - if people want to shout about Communism, they should at least take a moment to read about it/understand what it is...
But anyway, back to Barack:
I was pretty irritated by the fairly recent interview that he gave in which he just re-iterated a classic bit of anti-Cuba and pro-War-On-Drugs rhetoric... I mean, I know it's near an election and he needs to try to appeal to various people, but this just makes him look weaker...

The President is currently not doing enough to satisfy my expectations, but what else can he do? Its not like he is the one writing and voting on legislation.

sorry for sounding like a fool, but I think the wealthier should have at least a SLIGHTLY higher tax rate.
Or better yet, get rid of income taxes and the IRS and replace them with a national sales tax. This will tax people on their purchases, which is directly proportional to their wealth because rich people always spend more. Necessity items like food and medicine will be exempt from tax, so the poor folk will never end up paying taxes to live. But every rich guy who buys a yacht or a Ferrari or anything will pay through the nose in sales taxes. So the government will still get plenty of income, the rich will pay more, and it will be fair because it's based on how much you spend, not what you bring in.
