Hi All!

It's time for us to compete for the coveted poet laureate position once again.

For this quarter I would like all poems to commemorate the fantastic efforts of our recruitment team who drove our population to record highs (2512 at the time of writing this message).

Aersoldorf has offered graciously to provide a prize of 50,000 tacos to the winner.

Please PM all entries to me. The closing date for entries is Friday, October 12th at midnight (forum time).

I shall then post the entries anonymously and you shall have 3 days to vote for your favorites.

Well, though we only had one entry, it was from Aersoldorf who is a most deserving winner of the position.

His entry:

A half a million telegrams
Their dedication's proved
Yes, most of us once heard their call
And to these Islands moved

Their efforts bring us new recruits
That cause our ranks to swell
We are the fruit of their hard work
A job they do quite well

Recruiting's not for ev'ryone
It takes a special breed
To toil for hours, all alone
Like farmers, planting seed

O what a harvest they have brought
Here to our region's door
And though we've passed a GCR
They hope and dream of more

So thanks to all who take the time
To invitations send
We raise a toast to each of you
For working without end
