This is the official quarterly economic report of the 10000 Islands which has been compiled by our old time economist who lives in our isles. This economist lives frugally on a sparsely populated island and is only known by the name of Mortimer.
Hello, this is Mortimer. Many of you were wondering about the January report. Unfortunately, there were no changes for January, but the next report for April is bound to have changes.
As you all know, I am a very old economist. So old, in fact, that I actually died in December. Thankfully, I was croyogenically frozen immediately after my unfortunate incident. I will not bore you with the details, but I was recently unfrozen & had several of my vital organs removed & replaced with animal organs. I am now part monkey, alligator & bear. I know, I don't know how it worked either, but I feel better than I have in 80 years!
