Removing IMM shares from the Shop - Please Read

Due to an error in the 10000 Islands shop, we are going to have to discontinue sales of the IMM shares in the shop. After the current shares are sold we will go back to the old system where you will post in a thread to buy or sell shares. The reason for this change is because there is a glitch in the shop where IMM shares when sold will only give you back your purchase price.

So, over the next two weeks I will need you all to sell your shares of IMM stock. When your shares have been sold, please post it in here. Nations have until 11/5/14 to sell all of their current shares. I cannot remove any shop items for any of you, otherwise I would.

Once this two week period has ended, the IMM shares will be removed from the shop & we will have a relaunch of IMM shares soon afterward.

Click on your name, Almonaster, which will take you to your profile page. Then click on the picture of the IMM stock. That will give you the option of getting a refund, which in forum language, means selling the stock back to the store.

You didn't get skipped, you just didn't post that you had any IMM shares in here: 10000islands.proboards.com/thread/28056/paffnia-bottom-right. I was told by Grub to count only those shares listed on the Shop Purchases pages. Not listed = didn't get counted.

I had them listed until I edited them out after selling them because I saw this thread . It may be that the purchase lists on the second page of this sub-board were skipped?

This is unfortunate; wouldn't it make more sense to post to a thread when you want to sell, not buy (and remove the user refund option)? Then only selling needs to be handled by an admin.

The author of the shop/monetary system plugin has had real life issues keeping him from further development and is not likely to add a sell (as opposed to refund) option any time soon, but someone else could do it (the code is all on github). I'd hoped to look at it, but life has been particularly busy of late.
