The U.S. midterm elections conclude in less than a week. Whether you are a passionate activist pulling for your party or a jaded citizen who just wants to watch football without being bombarded by political campaign commercials, next week should have an impact on you. Nationstates is a politics-based game, why not have a politics discussion? So I thought I'd try and start one
I'll start. The last four years have seen a Democratic senate and a Republican house. Not much of anything has gotten done. With a Republican congress looming on the horizon, I think that might just lead to something getting done. President Obama will want a legacy, and Republicans will want to show they can govern in anticipation of the next presidential election. We might just get tax reform, immigration reform, and a long-term budget deal.
What do you think will happen? Who do you support? Not from the U.S. but have an opinion about what's wrong with America? Have a key governor's race or ballot initiative on your mind? Maybe something else to say? Join in!

I personally wish they would all stop, and go sit in whole somewhere. The ads are so annoying, I haven't seen any "positive" ads lately either.
