Hey everyone!
So I've been gone for a while now (a week or two with no word at all, sorry) due to some real-life events that commanded my full attention, including but not limited to basically having to be home alone for a week and do everything around the house. Now that I'm going to be in Germany for the next four weeks, I think it's be time to actually explain myself.
The last two weeks were unexpected, and I know I probably disrupted a few things, among them the Resistance game. I also know that Coreyo needed me to update the uni class list. I apologize for anything that my sudden absence may have caused a disturbance in. However, this time I know that I'm going to be gone, and for a while. I've decided that, more than anything, I need a break from XKI. I don't feel the same motivation and excitement that drove me to keep playing this game long after all my friends stopped. The only thing that really makes me want to stay around anymore is all the amazing people that I've met during my time here.
I think by this point it should be obvious what I really mean to do with this note. Effective immediately I wish to resign all of my emissary positions as well as my positions as Foreign Affairs Secretary and Dean of the University. The last couple of months I thought I would finally have the time to devote to XKI again, but I soon discovered that was not the case. Life happened and I think it's time for someone who is more motivated and creative than I to lead the University into a new era. I'm very excited to see all the interest in the University, but with that I also see that I am not the person to continue leading it.
You'll still catch me at TITO updates and I'll try to be active on that side of the game, because I love TITO probably more than any other thing about this game. That way I can still hang out and defend with all the wonderful people of this region, but I feel less stressed to keep up with obligations I simply don't have the time or energy to meet anymore. Once school starts I'll try and be a little more active again, but this time I'll try not to bite off more than I can chew. A game shouldn't cause me as much stress as it did, and right now a breather is what I need. Thank you all for the wonderful times and I'll see you again soon
