Greetings, Markanite and XKI!
I'm Wintermoot, Wintreath's Monarch and Founder, and on behalf of Wintreath I just wanted to say thanks for the gracious invitation to visit you guys this weekend. I'm really excited to see what sorts of chats and fun we end up having when we all get together.

Howdy! I'm known as Elbbsas out in the wild winter-y winds of Wintreath, and I'm a little lost on what to do next. (For instance, the quite spooky message of "post in the register thread or be deleted/use your nation name or... I'm not sure what the "or" is in that case). Any advice?

That's mainly for new citizens. Since this is a visit purely for an event, you should be fine.
I have to admit, I'm curious...why the requirement to use a nation name for Citizens? I've never seen another region do that.
It's not always enforced...as long as they have an idea of who you are on Nationstates...much like with us having the nation links attached to our visible profiles. But like that, it's mainly so they can do routine checks to make sure that they're active 10ki citizens.

Hello Wintreathreans, I'm Jed and it's nice to have you guys over for 3 days. Meanwhile, please accept my nation's invitation to our state function at my place and help yourselves to the cocktails and food that I have prepared.

Nice to meet ya! Cocktails and food sound sounds lovely...could you link us over?

And so we can look at new nations and know who they are on the forum as well as in NationStates.
