I feel like it depends on the kind of lifestyle you have. If you're one of those active elderly people who goes on trips to exotic countries and whatever you want without regard for other people, then probably live as long as possible. But otherwise...well old age is kinda depressing.

I think specifically 90, as you have lived a long time, and you have had a good run. Not any longer because then you'd probably be miserable, thinking about all your family and friends that have died, and you wouldn't be yourself anymore. Maybe it wouldn't be specifically 90, but the time before you aren't yourself and before all of your loved ones die. So between 80 and 100.

From an old man's perspective, 100 years is not nearly enough. I would prefer 300, and would still feel shortchanged. Just think what you could accomplish with 300 years.

Just wondering if you’re concerned that you would mentally/physically degrade after 100 years and have a poor quality of life then?

Naturally I am. My longevity fantasy includes health and vitality. When I reach my end, I plan to renegotiate.

For someone who foresees himself being a heavy burden on old age, I dread having to live long. But on the other hand I have also a great fear of death.
Then again it's just me... (sorry if my English is pretty incomprehensible for you it's not my main)
My first thought was that "I don't think an age in years really works," but then I thought about how weird it would be to live in a world where everyone alive when you were born is dead now, or in a world where all friends your age have died. Being the last of a generation would be lonely and eerie. I'm still in camp 100+, but not much more than that.

To be honest, I have a fear of death too. It’s not just you.

On one hand, living so seeing the next century would bless you with wisdom, on the other, the perpetual agony of living to that age might render you incapable of sharing said wisdom to others.
