Hi all, welcome to House 3.

This House has been formed from the Houses of Markanite, Grub and Tuga Nation's Dragon!

As we begin to navigate the new Houses, there a few things we need to get started.

Firstly, your house needs a name! Once you agree on the name, I'll update the masking and the boards.

Next you'll need to appoint a House Steward, this Steward will lead the House and be responsible for it's upkeep. Basically, the House system now will be less regimented than before. Houses are completely autonomous, they decide their own branding, images, logos and name. This includes how they operate.

Each member will be masked with the House name, new members to the forum will be randomly assigned a House and linked to the house board upon completing registration. If anyone wants to join a specific house, they may, just let me know!

^^ On the map there is a small Kraken on the right hand side. Maybe we could be House Kraken or something inspired by the region? House Sword for the Sword of TITO?

Regarding the House name, maybe we can collect some suggestions and make a poll... The most voted one will be selected... I love democracy!

perhaps we should decide on a name that can be related with everyone and not one based on specific names...

I had an idea for all 4 houses. We could have the houses named after beach themes, so there could be the Sand, Water/Sky, Coconut, and Palm Houses. Or they could be named after tropical colors, such as Blue, Beige, Orange, and Green Houses

I like the idea of beach themed houses, not so sure about the color theme... Feel free to suggest that to the other houses...

Just a thought, and feel free to dismiss the idea... We are literally merging three houses (even if Mark's is the only active one) so we could name it something like House of Trinity; we can also adopt a motto related to this, something like: "unity, valor and honor"... Or if you want something beach related: "beach, sun and margaritas!"

Name: House Sword or House of the Sword

I support Tuga for our Steward, love the motto and think I lean towards House of the Sword

I'm not terribly enamored of the name but I'll go along with it if other people feel strongly. I also support Spratly taking on an official role, if not as steward then as vice steward or Minister of Beaches and Flavorful Mixed Drinks with Umbrellas or something.

We should have a vote, with each person interested in the Steward role given some time to put their name forth and write 4 or 5 sentences about their plans as steward and why we should pick them.

As to the name, I did like the beach theme and was hoping a name would come up along those lines, but I have no specific suggestions. I humbly submit the minor amendment of "House of Swords", which I think gives it a more mysterious vibe and touch of a tarot reading/clairvoyant connotations.

to be fair, we would like to have more people to join our house, so the 12 thing sounds a bit limiting... And I like the Swors (and not the plural) better...
But honestly, I don't mind if spratlyislands gets to be steward, in fact, I think it's a great idea!
