Since recruiting and retention/engagement are the main goals of the House reform, I was thinking we could brainstorm some spiffy ideas to get more people in and to keep them engaged. It is my understanding that we are permitted to recruit Islanders who aren't currently in another House, so pretty much anyone new or houseless is fair game. Of course I have some initial ideas:
* On the discord channel and in Keswickholt's office I volunteered to print "ads" on behalf of the House Stewards to help recruiting; we should definitely take advantage of that.
* We should maintain a list of people in the House who recruit and encourage people to sign up (myself included), even if it's only occasional.
* Those who aren't recruiting should focus on engaging newer recruits within the House - seeing how they're doing, mentoring in whatever regional role they're in, education, etc.
* I think we could also talk up the House on the RMB, provided we aren't obnoxious about it. There's no "no solicitation" rule and the Houses are meant to promote engagement so as long as we aren't spamming it we should be fine.
