As most of you will know now, I have been a XKI Senator for about 3 terms now. Having also recently been appointed Senior Senator after Boo left, I feel there is alot more I can do for the Islands having only served a short part of my term as Sen. Senator.
Personally, if I am re-elected, i'd like to boost activity in the Senate forum. It's been pretty dead in the last months except for the occasional postings requesting monthly senate reports.
Obviously, people are reading the Senate forums, but I'd like to see a boost in support of the Senators, since they are elected to represent the people, but cannot be truly representative if the people do not bring opinions, concerns, questions etc to the senators so that those issues can be brought before the Co9.
I urge everyone (supporters of me, and not) to voice their opinions in the upcoming elections. Make your vote count. The senators are supposed to be elected by the people and cannot be truly representative of the people if the people do not vote
Elect Crackenback, and yours is a vote for stability.

Mainly through increasing people's knowledge of the forum and it's purpose. I understand that PM's would also be an appropriate way for people to bring things before the Senators, but in my three terms as Senator, i think I can count the number of times anyone has PM'd me regarding a Senate matter on one hand
As I said, it seems as though a general consensus of people's points of view of senators is that we are untouchable, or powerless, or whatever. The four senators still have quite a swing in the Co9 and I will increase awareness of the four senators and the senate board. I want to see more people interact with the senate.
