I got back safe, but a little wet... The Nort Sea has pretty strong winds and high waves... That really WAS sailing! I didn't get the time to relax very much but I had a lot of fun on the water...
I made some experience with thunder striking your boat, almost running into a submarine and touching a skark...

I landed on the tiny Island of Helgoland... That's the one with the red cliffs... Besides that we mostly sailed.
Helgoland has a very intersting history... Holy island (for the old tribes), pirates hideout, smugglers base (Napoleonic period), British occupation, German military base WWI (exchanged for Sansiba), still marine base (WWII), platened by British bombers, British target practise point, blown up by the Brits (6000 t TNT - the island didn't sink), handed back to Germany in the 70th. And tourist island since then.
The U-boat incident took place at the Elbe river mouth. The boat looks Spanish to me, but I can't really tell... They probably came back from a visit of Hamburg or maybe from the Hamburg shipyards...
