Hello my fellow 10000 Islanders! I am once again running for Seat against the senate. I would like to wish the other candidate good luck, who is at this time only Crackenback. And I would feel that the goverment would be in good hands regardless of the victor of this race. Before we get down to my Platforms, I would like to say thank you to those who voted for me in the past and congratulations to Sheynat who ran a hard campaign during the last election.
Now let me get into the planks that make up my platform:
Principles I observe:
- Give and Take:When I am asked to represent an idea in the senate or to voice it there. I personally do not believe in dropping it out in the open senate. I handle ideas on a give and take basis, let's face it. We would all like our ideas to pass through the Senate unscathed, but some things are just not implementable(thats a mouthful). But, if I compromise with you on the issue and we find a mid-ground, it is much better than leaving the issue to the mercy of the Co9 where the soul idea you want passed may be changed or misinterpreted. This will give you more control of your ideas and how they come out.
- Fight till the end: I will fight for your ideas and principles with all my being. The day that something dies without my consent will be the day I die from exhaustion of trying to push it through.
Of course, this doesn't mean I will push impossible ideas, or ideas many disagree with. In the latter case, I will try to find a compromise because your voice still deserves to be heard regardless if everyone disagrees with you.

- Immigration- Basically, my ideas for immigration haven't changed. I believe my ideas in this department are pretty solid. The main component to my plans is the 10000 Islands being more of an interventionist state. Now, I know that sounds bad, but its the only word I can find that is an antonym for Isolationism. Where do you presume we are going to get new immigrants? The Outside world. We need to get involved out there, to make more people flock over here. Now, some of you will think that we are pretty active in NS, and I agree with you, but not as active as we could be. TITO gives us world recognition, but due to Invader propaganda, this recognition is always positive. We need to act on the world fame and get people to like us even more! Here are a few of my ideas(old ideas in quotes):Now, some say that the newsletter has been fulfilled with the magazine, no, it hasn't. We need to get it out there, perhaps post a weekly group of articles on the NS forum! Anyways I have one new idea to add into immigration:1. Outside-Recruitment: This involves getting your friends to join Nationstates and then getting them to come to 10000 Islands. It is generally outside of the internet, but can be on it as well. If 200 people got two people to join, we would have 400 people, if those 400 got 2 more... You get the idea. While this idea probably wont rack in those numbers, it should still work well.
2. 10000 Islands RPs: We should have 10000 Islands RPs on the Nationstates forum, this will rack in the massive amounts of RPers out there. At the bottom of our RPs we could have "Come see more at 10000 Islands...." Or we could just put the basis of the RP around 10000 Islands.
3. 10000 Islands Newsletter(by TG): We could assign a special group of people who would write a daily/weekly/monthly, (havent decided as of yet), newsletter and send it out to the people of NS through telegrams. Now, if the Telegram load is to big, we could get volunteers of people to take a certain number of people to send the TGs to. I.E. I think I could send out 150 TGs a day, I would volunteer to send these TGs out and get a list of 150 subscribers. In addition to making 10000 Islands more know around NS, this would also help to spread the great deeds of defenders and show the rest of the NS world our viewpoint.
Festivals: We could hold anual festivals in 10000 Islands and invite people across NS to join in on the fun. It would attract alot of people, and imprint an image of a good fun-loving people in 10000 Islands. This impact could lead these people to come back to 10000 Islands, that time, to stay. - TITO: I will back TITO at all costs and support Grub as TITOs natural leader. I will make no political impositions on it either. If you have an idea about TITO, perhaps we could compromise around it or make it so not a large impact will not hinder it. I am against the Co9 having any say in TITO affairs.
- Education: I believe that 10000 Islands is way ahead of the NS world as far as education. Thats why we need to advance it even further, so we can stay far above every body else. I personally have few ideas for Education, but give me a while and im sure to come up with something. Amongst those few ideas for Education is totally expanding The University classes. I plan to make The University classes more numerous, and implement a strict new foundation for these classes. Like having different "levels" of the classes. Like one level, would have homework and tests, for those serious about getting an indept education on the subjects. These classes would also have enrolled students, and would consist of one thread. There would then be the read-classes. Which would resemble a book, in that there is no real interaction, only reading a page. These would consist of multiple threads. And perhaps we could extend from there.
