1) Be in the UN
2) Be a member of TITO
3) Have been registered in the forum for 30 days
4) Have a minimum of 10 TITO Battle Stars
5) Have a minimum of 50 forum posts

I'd like to run for the delegacy, if it is possible to reconcile likely membership of The New Meritocracy with that.

Serconea, according to the last statute passed, you won't be able to run for Delegate or Senator because of your position in an outside region.

As for the election date, I think the election will start after the Senate election is over, but I am going to run it by the Council of Nine first.

I am withdrawing my candidacy anyway due to lack of time at the moment.

I am still rather annoyed that this statute was passed without debate and without consultation. That is not the way to run things.

Speaking of 'positions', I wouldn't say that being an Assembly member was holding a position, but if I was Deputy Censor again, it would be.

Without debate from who, exactly?

It was voted on by the Council of Nine. Concerns about this particular occurence were voiced by several Islanders before it was brought into the Co9. Everyone on the Council at that time voted FOR it.

i know i have not been very active, but i have been in the islans for a long time now. i have been here longer then boo, suprisingly, it seems. although i have not had the most...spectacular political career (please do not mention the TFP) i beleive that i would sit well as the delegate for this region

Seeing as school is coming to an end I will have more time now to focus on the game therefore I am declaring my candidacy for delegate. I know I have not been around much lately but I think I will be able to focus my time on this game much more. Any questions? please feel free to ask.

Fleeb respectfully submits our nation for consideration as Delegate of 10000 Islands.

Changes in my work life have meant I am less able to be active in the late-nightly work of defender duties with TITO, and I have greatly missed the interaction with all our region's members. Since being an active delegate is not dependent on keeping company with the nightowls, I would like to offer myself for that work. It would of course mean my resignation as Minister of Education, which I have held since the establishment of the constitution, and any other positions which Grub considers a conflict of interest with the Delegateship.

We would appreciate your vote and welcome any inquiries about policies and procedures. I believe the Delegate is a servant of the region (TSNA has been an outstanding example) and must function to represent the interests and attitudes of the regions in his work both with the UN votes as well as developing a growing and healthy region. Let freedom ring!
