An interesting thought about the Islands

The Islands remind me of Indonesia, which BTW recently held its presidential election. We're the third largest user created region, Indonesia has the fourth highest population on Earth. We're called the 10000 Islands, Indonesia literally is 17,000 islands.

What other countries could you compare the Islands to?
