new to NS and would appreciate help...

There are two things which I really want to know about but I dont know about. They are how war works, and how the UN works

War is not applicable in NS, the only combat i will say is invade which mean if a invader group want to overthrow a region, the invader delegate must has more endorsements than the current being invaded region's delegate. If the invader delegate successfully has more endorsements, then he has the power to password portect the particular region to stop helps from other nations to help the defender region; and he then can start eject all the defender nations to the Rejected Realm region.

UN give a UN-status nation the power to vote in UN's resolution, when come to reasonable collapse of time, the resolution will be closed and the votes will be counted. The passed resolution will give effect to all UN-status nations wheather you agree or not.

If my explanations are not sufficient, you may ask other older players in here. Or hmm.... i think they will futher explain later in this thread....

Hi Eastern! A warm welcome to the 10000 islands and this forum.
War is mostly a roleplaying experience in NS, apart from the occasional invasions into regions that take place. 10000 island region (if you read the history) has some TITO members. Tito sometimes helps out when other regions are being invaded. If you read the coast watcher thread that might be helpful-nations report invasions taking place etc. You can become a member of TITO if you write Grub and get approved.
Many regions have a delegate to the UN that represents their region. 10000 islands current delegate is Estayland. Other Individual nations in the region may also become UN members, they can vote on UN proposals but their votes don't carry as much power as the regional un delegates vote. It's highly recommended that you endorse Estayland, you may also endorse as many UN delegates in your same region as you like. Estayland posts polls before he votes on UN issues so he can assess how other nations in this region might feel about proposals. If you are or become a UN delegate if you have atleast 2 endorsements you can write UN proposals..
