Hello everyone from the fledgling nation of the Republic of Daikomyo! This is my first attempt at nation building, and I've been flopping around on the NationStates website for a few days now. Thus far I've legalized human cloning, ushered in a new era of widespread union strikes, and given the people the ability to decide where their tax dollars are spent. Not too bad for my first 3 days of work! lol
I've already messaged Grub through NS, and thought I would give a howdy-ho here. I look forward to having a great time around here.

Thank you very much. I didn't want to use a flag of an existing country so I sat down and drew my own. I'm still writing the History of my nation, but the elements of the flag are drawn from that story.

What does your nation name mean? I can only directly understand it as big-light?
Daikomyo comes from a Buddist mantra that has great significance to me. That is 'Shiken Haramitsu Daikomyo'. In the context of the mantra, Daikomyo (or 'Great Komyo') is understood to be a 'big bright light' of illumination or even the radiance of a deity.
