I believe that autism should be cured, and that this is a no-brainer. I think that the real question is, what expenses should be spared to cure this disease? By the way, Acelantis, both of your links appear broken to me.

No, autism comes with many pro's and advantages. Aspergers are often much better than NT's (Neuro Types) at repetitive tasks, they can think out of the box, have more perseverance and tenacity etcetera. Sure, it often comes with hampered social skills, fatigue and an unwillingness (or should I say; inability) to deviate form set plans and habits, but who cares. Diversity works. It would be a shame if we were all the same.
