Should there be a 10000 Islands currency to trade with?, all nations will keep their own currency and use the 10000 islands currency to trade. This will make buying things in the new shop easier aswell. Please post any ideas you have about this topic and if you have a name for the new currency post it here aswell.

Yes, that sounds good. I know it can be a bit confusing when i post stuff in the shop with the price said in Alfonian Uber Pounds. I think we would need everyone to say how many of their national currency goes on one 10000 Islands currency, though. This can be problematic, but if we could have a minister of finances, then perhaps he/she could take care of the currencys value.

My idea to solve the problems of exchange rates is that the rate could be based on the state of the economy in the country, so the better your economy the more your money is worth.

This message is just so everybody understands, Every nation will keep their OWN currency but we will use the 10000 islands currency whilst trading with other 10K Island nations (e.g. in the new shop). The idea of this change is to help people trade as you will know exactly how much your paying rather than just assuming it is fair. For example if I were to charge 1 million Jamz's (that being my national currency) for a gun that may seem totally overpriced to you but if 1 million Jamz's was only worth 10 of your currency then that may be extremley cheap, this proposal means that you can work out exactly how much something is in your own currency.

G'day all I believe that an international courrency is a fine idea but I also have a question on how to do the exchange. Should it be based solely on economy strength or on some form of multiplier that is bsed upon the population of your nation. This represents GDP, national debt, buying power, etc. ?
