As the 10000 Islands economy grows, so does the prestige & world rankings of each 10000 Islands nation. Each nation will be categorized as one of four ways a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th world nation. To qualify for these rankings, each nation will need to reach a certain criteria and that criteria will change with time. What was considered 1st world in 1907 is a lot different today in 2007. This is the same in the 10000 Islands. Here is the current criteria for what is considered 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th world nations:
st World: Listed on map, has Capital, Factory, Shipping, Mining & Farming.
nd World: Listed on map. Has Capital, Farming or mining, and either shipping or factory.
rd World: Listed on the 10000 Islands map, has a Capital.
th World: A 4th world nation is one that is either not on the 10000 Islands map at all or one that is on the map, but does not even have a Capital.
