Riots have ensued New Parthini due to the recent banning from the UN. The people, once proud of their rank of UN Delegate citizens, are angry that this high stature has been forced away. The Government has taken drastic measures to quell this ever increasing resistance. The City-States of Salmaag, Rashi and Perfasi are now torn from the war.
Out of the ashes of Perfasi a new leader has arisen. He claims to be decendant of the legendary House of Parthini, which ruled the Island of Parthini until the mid 1300s when the Induthesians invaded and kept the Island under control until the Parathian leader Forgath I defeated them.
He calls himself Grand Prince Sarthui I (He does not claim direct decent hence the Grand Prince). He has gained the support of the Tribal Lords of Rashi, Salmaag, and Porafi, and most of the Trans-Tribal City of Perfasi. The City-State of Porafi is locked in a civil war between the Princes forces and the seditionists who wish to keep Porafi alone. Algashia is requiring tribute and Parathi is currently deciding on what coarse to take. It seems the new Prince is loved and adored.
He brings words of peace and unity under the banner of the Parthini of Old. He claims the nation of New Parthini is dead and that Parthini will lead the citizens into a better future and back to the great status of UN Delegate. Will he or is this just a silly ploy to gain power? We shall see...
Grand Prince Sarthui I Royal Prince of the House of Parthini Grand Generalissimo of the Parthinian Navy Parthinian Tribal Magistrate of the Fasi Hall
The Grand Prince has indeed brought Parthini back to its once glorious postion. Has has also brought many wonderful changes inside the county. He has built up a strong defense force and has protected Parthini from the rebels. He has freed healthcare in a very clever ploy to get the citizens to recieve vaccinations. If a patient wished to recieve healthcare, he/she must first recieve the vaccinations. Also, a wonderous and great educational acheivement has been acheived in the colleges of Parthini; they are all free to any citizen who wishes.
With all of these glorious accomplishments one thing remains, the reinstitution of a parliament. It has been almost six months since the Prince took power. He has yet to claim the position of Royal Patriarch or establish a form of democratic government structure.
The Prince is young, only 29, and very ambitious. Maybe soon he will bring back the peace that was once Parthinian...
