Greetings fellow 10K Islanders!
As you know, Turkmenbashy is one of the leading players in the 10KI IT scene, represented by our flagship firm Saparmuratsoft. In recognition of the fact that not everybody can afford the exorbitant cost of Microsoft software, Saparmuratsoft has endeavoured to produce open source software, including operating systems, internet browsers, productivity suites and database management software. Our operating system, Viridia, has now become the standard Turkmenian platform on computers sold in Turkmenbashy and government and most private sector information systems now utilise it, as do almost all Turkmenian citizens.
In the spirit of solidarity with the 10KI, Saparmuratsoft has now, in accordance with a Royal Firman, decided to extend its assistance to less well-off nations in our beloved commonwealth to assist in the shift to a paperless governance environment and in increasing IT awareness among citizens of the 10KI. Any country then, that wishes to upgrade their machinery and to open the vast new world of cyberspace and IT-literacy to its citizens, can now approach us and Saparmuratsoft IT consultants will set up information systems in your nation. The software will come free of charge with PCs and servers supplied at a very nominal cost. The greatest effort has been made to ensure compatibility with existing software. Interested nations please post and we can work something out.
Yours,
Sultan Saparmurat I
