**Jack of the Valandri Commonwealth approaches his chair in the high council, and sits with a sigh. The other council members approach him and ask him what is the matter**
Well my fellow council men, and women, it seems that despite my efforts to gain the trust of our neighbors, we simply do not have the presence to invoke the aid of our nearest allies.
**Council man Dendri replies** Perhaps if we offered the wisdom and knowledge of the council to our neighbors we could win some publicity and honour amongst our new friends?
**Jack silently sits back bringing his finger tips together** Perhaps... but this may be a grievious error on our part, for one of the other nations may view it as a pompous or selfrighteous act... and then take it upon themselves to show us the err in our ways...
**Council woman Almari stares across at the rest of the members who are nodding their heads in agreement** I cannot believe this. You would simply deny the coucil for fear? It would be pompous to order them to do so... but to offer is kind. We are not the world police... we are simply here to advise. This is the only thing we can offer and to deny such is against our oaths...
**Jack stares back at her, his face showing his intrigue.** Very well then... so an offer it shall be... begin the official records. Valandri shall begin a council of nations. Not to allegiance but to aid and remain unaffiliated.
**Dendri retorts** Hopefully we may gain a few allies and friends from this, and reach some small benefit.
**Jack smiles and stares back at him** And maybe your corruption will no longer play a part in our decisions. Give us your fairer remarks and keep the backhanded retorts to yourself. While I may tolerate treason in one country, treason in our own will I not.

Oh yeah... just because I started this doesn't mean I get to control it... we shall vote as always... for such is the type of control of my country: Hurray democracy!!!)**
