It's not the "another one" (I like Patricia Briggs and Robin McKinley's vampire books and would love more) , it's that they are so poorly done.

It can be a lot of fun reading the Meyer reviews, though.

These are not science fiction, though, but fantasy. And there are a lot of bad science fiction authors out there...how about Frank Herbert's kid, for resurrecting all the Dune stories so he could make tons of money on the backstory?
