The Unstoppable Republic Markanite is unique, with its rolling hills, mountainous regions, beaches and large forests. The island was found by a young man named Mark who discover it while on his way home to Ireland, he would later colonise it and build cities.These cities later attracted millions of others and now it is a bussing region which is in great condition. Today the people enjoy excellent political freedoms and good civil rights, though certain civil rights have been sacrificed for the sake of order and stability. For many years Markanite has been a Catholic country with catholisism being taught in every state and private school. In the previous census it was revealed 99.9% of the population are Catholic. Markanite is a Republic and has been renouned for announcing it doesn't need or want a monarch. THe office of President was formed with the formation of the first government by President Mark Lavery. Mark appointed Sarah Palin as the first Vice President. Markanites are a cultured people valuing wisdom, intelligence, and rational thinking and like the Irish enjoy having a good time. The system of government was created by Mark and it is comprimised: at a national level comprised of The President, The Vice President, the Markanite Senate,The Markanite Cabinet and The Supreme Court. The Markanite Senate is a body which consists of all 120 local level politicians. The Senate is led by the Vice President who also takes the role of speaker. The Markanite Supreme court contains 6 members and discusses issues of legal natures. The Markanite Cabinet consists of people appointed by Mark to help him impliment and run policy. The Republic of Markanite is split into 4 Regions, each with 1 grand Senator for each region, this grand senator helps run local government in the region.
