Condemn Great Nepal
A resolution to express shock and dismay at a nation or region.

Description: The Security Council,

RECOGNIZING The United Kingdom of Great Nepal as an oppressive dictatorship.

NOTING that Great Nepal grants little to no political rights to its population, along with subjecting citizens to cruel punishment.

INSULTED by the fact the the United Kingdom of Great Nepal made a mockery of the World Assembly and its resolutions by actively and fully participating in the slave trade while it was still a member of the World Assembly.

HORRIFIED that Great Nepal has committed, and admitted to abusing the population in ways such as:
a. Executing children in schools of all grade levels for being suspected of "bullying."
b. Killing all children before the age of four suspected to be homosexual, even though it would be near impossible to know at that young age, and only allowing children to live if they pay currency to the government.
c. Using child slaves for labor purposes.

FURTHER REALIZING that Great Nepal has shown itself to be a threat to other nations through actions such as:
a. Actively searching for cheap nuclear weapons for offensive purposes.
b. Threatening to use and has actively used these cheap nuclear weapons on both WA and non-WA nations alike.
c. Creating and purchasing viruses and biological weapons.
d. Using newly founded nations as testing sites for nuclear weapons.

HEREBY Condemns Great Nepal

Delegates prerogative

This is the first time I have seen the Security Council used this way. I don't think this is a place for the Security council to interfere but I'll leave it up to Ananke.

Since there's just a couple of votes for Delegate's Prerogative so far I decided to try something new and toss a coin to decide my vote. So I'm against until the majority opinion changes.

I don't really have any opinion on this proposal, since I know neither the recipient or the proposer, so if anyone knows about the player/situation in question please post and enlighten the rest of us.

59 minutes ago Greetings. 10000 Islands and the heartland have long enjoyed a cordial relationship, and this is not something I would normally do, but in this case I feel I must. I generally don't pay much attention to the SC and their condemn & commend proposals, but I have found one I believe is worth voting for, the current Condemn Great Nepal proposal. This is a nation that actually is worth condemning. I would urge you to please change your vote to "yes" on this.

13 minutes ago The reasons laid out in the proposal are pretty much just the "lowlights" of GN's career. The unofficial reasons we are in favour is because he is about the worst godmodwank to come along in the very many years I've been RPing here on NS, refuses to listen to advise from anybody, and pretty much treats any RP as his personal "cheat" code. Add to it he is just plain obnoxious and rude. He can't RP without godmodding, and when called on it, refuses to listen. Most, if not all, C&C's to this point have been petty grudges by a couple players against somebody or a region. Great Nepal has caused many RP's to shut down just by showing up because so many players now refuse to RP with him because they know what is coming. When this condemn first came up, he bragged about sending TG's to delegates in order to "bribe" them to vote against or to pressure the mods to get it chucked out. I know this is fact because I got one of those TG's, as did a few other of my fellow delegates I know. He is probably the most deserving of an actual condemnation I've seen since these were instituted.

Since I'm feeling somewhat fickle today, I switched my vote to for. Not to mention that I like Grays Harbor + The Heartland and 10ki tend to uphold good relations, so figured doing them a favour was as good a reason as any for how to cast my vote (at least until a clear majority forms for or against in 10ki).

Okay... I am honestly rather confused...

How is it that the previous resolution in the security council was actually against the rules, and this one isnt? Was it the fact that the other one was already kicked out of the WA and this one isnt? Or what? I am new to this stuff, so I guess I am still learning. Please help my confusion! : )

While I dont support the actions the GN I don't feel a condemnation will fix anything as it seems like he is a whiny little kid from reading his posts. While I have no opinion on this and feel condemning will do nothing but earn him fame and glory... Lets leave it up to Ananke o.o

I often wish they would include some evidence on these resolutions.

Still, if voting for the resolution will help maintain good relationships with a trustworthy region, then I say Aye, condemn away.

It's hard to believe that although Grays Harbor doesn't want to be petitioned for voting ... its okay for them to petition us on how to vote. Seems like double standards. "It's okay if I do it, but not okay if you do".

Well, I've made it clear that I don't mind being tg'd about WA resolutions and Grays Harbor has been supportive of 10ki, when resolutions to do with us have been up for vote, so I really don't see anything wrong with him tg'ing me. Was nice to get some info on the proposal without having to wade through the NS forum thread.

Besides I like contact with other WA delegates, so getting an opportunity to exchange some tgs with him and leave a good impression was nice.

I'd agree to Condemning Great Nepal also, sure some people will like his new found fame, but at least those who don't like his new status know about him and can watch their backs around him.
