The Triumvirate 3wiseguys suggests consideration of provisions addressing malicious prosecution, double jeopardy, trivial pursuit, and the choice of house or ranch dressing.
Cammarvane objects to the resolution because of the assumption that all nations are simply implementing a flawed USA-like system.
Cammarvane uses a Napoleonic system for trials, in which the adversarial nature of the proceedings (and therefore the influence of the 'better lawyer') is greatly reduced, and in which the judges take an active, inquisitional role.
We do not appreciate the assumption that any system other than the adversarial system must be by definition flawed and unfair, and the intent to force our entire judicial branch to be recreated from the ground up.
A. Silverlode, Prime Minister The Commonwealth of Cammarvane
The Quenya of Taureska objects to this proposal. We also utilise a system unlike that outlined in this proposal and object to the UN attempting to dictate our legal system. Also, point 5 regarding trying the case in the place it was committed is unwise and vague. We find the proposal ill-thought and invasive.

I agree and vote for it.
If we do not rely on our justice system, then who or what can we rely on. If we allow the people to make the decisions then that of course would be a huge mistake. Instead of a fair trial, it would be a trial of sudden judgements!
And, I do agree with Cammarvane...BUT, at least our system isn't like Iraq's. Where you have absolutely no system! Or better yet, the system of One.
